Meet the Team

  We have two dental surgeons, one hygienist and four support staff all working to provide you with the best dental care possible.  Our team is well established and always happy to answer any questions you may have. We are committed to continuing professional development.

Sarah Allerton B.D.S (Newc) GDC 76423

PRINCIPAL DENTIST

Sarah joined the practice after qualifying from Newcastle University in 1999. She became principal owner in 2005 and has since been working to modernise the practice in order to provide high-quality dental care in a friendly, welcoming environment. 



In her spare time Sarah likes playing music, watching wildlife programs and  computing.



Katherine Foley B.D.S (Newc) GDC 76436

ASSOCIATE DENTIST

Originally from Lancashire, Katherine joined the practice in 2005 having lived and worked locally since qualifying in 1999. In her spare time Katherine likes going to the cinema and is learning to play the piano.

Julie Burbage E.D.H 

DENTAL HYGIENIST

 

Julie is the practice's hygienist. She is a valuable member of our dental team whose care and attention will keep your smile healthy. In her spare time she likes playing squash, salsa dancing and speaking Italian.

Rachel Bower
DENTAL NURSE


Rachel has lived all her life in Marske and has been dental nursing since 1987. She joined the practice in 2003. She is married with two children and loves camping, walking, going to the cinema and eating out.

Cheryl Mealing
DENTAL NURSE



​Cheryl has worked at the practice since October 1998, gaining her national qualification in January 2001. She currently works three days per week as she is also bringing up her own family. She really enjoys her job.

DENTAL NURSE



Emma qualified in 2010 and joined the practice in 2021.  
She enjoys walking her dog, Rogie around the North Yorkshire Moors, cooking and listening to music.

Louise Hunter
RECEPTIONIST


Louise worked at the practice from leaving school and qualified as a dental nurse in 1994. Her wealth of experience is something that newer members of staff regularly benefit from. She lives locally and enjoys walking and eating out.
